Research on the appropriate use of health economic modeling methods for personalized clinical pathways.
Tool that generates input for Discrete Event Simulation models by analyzing patient-level clinical data.
Step-by-step tutorials illustrate how the tools should be used and how the results can be implemented.
Patient-level health economic models are powerful tools in the evaluation of novel healthcare interventions, as these models are able to naturally represent today’s heterogeneous and dynamic clinical pathways. Structuring these patient-level models and analyzing the data to be implemented into the models, however, can be challenging. PERSONEX provides tools and tutorials that assist modelers in developing and populating patient-level models used for health economic analyses, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and risk-benefit analyses. Additionally, PERSONEX provides training and coaching services to further support the development of patient-level health economic simulation models.
Being developed based on scientific research, the PERSONEX tools support modelers in properly analyzing patient-level clinical data and reflecting the uncertainty in it. The tutorials illustrate and explain how to organize the patient-level data to be analyzed, how the tools should be used, and how the results of the data analysis can be used to populate patient-level health economic models. The services provided by PERSONEX empower professionals to perform all steps in patient-level modeling studies themselves.
