Educating and supporting professionals.
Since the number of patient-level simulation models that is being developed increases, more and more people are looking for training that provides them with the skills required for developing or reviewing these models. We offer training that is tailored to the trainees’ prior knowledge, so that they are efficiently empowered to perform and review patient-level health economic modeling studies. Although our main expertise is in discrete event simulation, we can also provide training on patient-level state-transition models and basic introductions to health economic modeling. The training can be on-site or off-site and its duration may vary between half a day or several days, both depending on the trainees’ preferences. As the training is not limited to the development of health economic models, not only academia and the industry, but also governmental organizations concerned with the review of these modeling studies, would benefit of the training.
Do you want to complete a project yourself? But could you use some support? Coaching is an alternative to doing everything on your own and asking a consultancy company to do everything for you. As a coach, we provide assistance where necessary, to make sure you make the right decisions in analyzing your data and developing your model. This includes discussing the research plan, model structure, data analysis plan, model validation, and any question you might have. We are specialized in discrete event simulation models, though can also offer support for other microsimulation models (e.g. patient-level state-transition models). Coaching may be particularly interesting for academia or consultancy companies with a challenging project.
On special request, we may provide consultancy services on a project basis. These services include complete health economic modeling studies (including data analysis, model development, model analysis, and reporting), health economic model review, early health technology assessment, and clinical trial protocol development support. For all these services, we are specialized in discrete event simulation models, though they can also be offered for other microsimulation models (e.g. patient-level state-transition models). These services are provided for both academia and the industry.
